Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch

We finally made it to Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch in Pilot Point, Texas. I had purchased a Groupon for the ranch back in May to take Sweet P for her birthday. It rained and rained then rained some more in May and part of the ranch was flooded so we couldn't go. Finally we have some nice sunny warm weather so we make the hour drive up to the ranch this weekend.

We had such a good time! I purchased the Family fun package four from Groupon which included:

Admission for two adults and two kids and two pony rides. It was just the girls and I so they gave us two extra pony rides.A visit to the petting zoo and one Meet, Hold, and Interact encounter with the ranch’s exotic fauna, such as a lemur, kangaroo joey, or lizard. You also get 4 bags of feed as well.

They loved the pony rides.

They chose the Lemer for their animal interaction.

We took a tram ride and visited 3 different pastures.  The first pasture had horses and a Zorse and Zdonk. I have a picture of the Zorse below. The tram has buckets on the outside where your can put you feed. They had some really beautiful horses too. The animals come right up to the tram which the girls loved.

The second pasture had some beautiful zebras.

The third pasture had some very friendly camels.
