In 2012 I started the 4 Gift Christmas Challenge. ONLY 4 GIFTS. If your kids are anything like mine they already have way to many toys from birthdays and gifts from grandparents. So now every Christmas, my kids get the 4 items you see listed below. Here’s what I’ve found…they are more grateful for the gifts they do get…they remember each gift and each gift is more meaningful. They know each year they will receive 4 gifts from me and 1 gift from Santa.
Each year we head to Bass Pro for our free photo with Santa and mail their letters to Santa. There also have picture packages available to purchase as well. Be sure to get there early and get a Bass Pass, this will keep you a spot for a specified time for pictures with Santa. While your waiting for your picture, the kids can write their letter to Santa and play games and make a craft. Check out their website to find a Bass Pro Santa's Wonderland near you.
