Fun filled Easter weekend

I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. Since my all my family is in Tennessee I spent Easter with friends (who have become my family).

Friday there was no school so I took off work to spend the day with the girls. We had so much fun. we went to the Dallas Children's Aquarium, Texas Discovery Gardens, Deep Ellum Art Festival, and Klyde Warren Park.

Dallas Children's Aquarium was really fun. The best part is feeding and petting the stingrays. My youngest probably would have stayed there all day if I would have let her.

Texas Discovery Gardens has an awesome butterfly pavilion where they release butterflies everyday at noon.

Deep Ellum Art Festival was a lot of fun. Lots of great music, food, and art. We were there on Friday and was not as crowded.

Klyde Warren Park was awesome. Parking can be an issue, it took us a while to find a spot.  They have food trucks, playground, splash area, huge lawn area, and a reading area with books for adults and children. Take an extra change of clothes and a swimsuit and let the kids enjoy splash area. There is seating around the park but next time I think we will take a blanket and have a picnic lunch there. They have a restaurant Savor Relish with the best burgers!  There is also a snow cone cart across the street in front of the Dallas Museum of Art.

Family fun..
