Compassion Mail Call ...Letters recieved in March

Linking up with Compassion Family for a look back at all of our Compassion Joys in March.

Birthdays

We had a couple of birthday's this month, including my own on March 17th.

Happy 10th Birthday to Kiko                        Happy 13th  Birthday to Mary

Back in December I received 12 correspondent children from the Kenyan 1000.  I received my first letters from 5 of those children this month. The letters were from Mohammed, Kiko, Mercy, Ropilen, and Mwende.

I just received today letters from Ida and Blessilela. They both have birthdays in April. This is our first letter from Ida she is a correspondence child I received from the Kenyan  1000. Blessing is our sponsor child. I always love getting her sweet letters. She writes to us often.

Do you sponsor a child with Compassion?  You should seriously consider it.  We financially sponsor 1 child  and correspond with 21. Yes we have 21 correspondence kids we write to and love every one of them. They range in age from 3 to 17. It always breaks my heart when I get their history and see a child has only had 3 letters in the past 6 years. I know some sponsors don't have the time to write to their sponsor children, but that I why I love the Compassion Correspondent Program. It is such a blessing to be able to write to all these sweet children. My daughters love helping me write letters to all of our kiddos.

  1. Ropilen is too cute! I loved seeing the photos of your Kenyan kids. That's so exciting that you're finally hearing from them! I always feel that the relationship is more "real" after hearing from the kids for the first time.

  5. I love the correspondence program too. I don't think most realize just how important letters are to these kids! I know I try my best to relay that to people when I am advocating for the kids. We sponsor 4 and I have 14 correspondent kids--so a total of 18 to send letters! I love writing to these kids and hope that God helps me use my words to encourage them.
