Back in October my daughters had a week off of school for fall break, I decided to head to New Mexico, the land of enchantment, for our
adventure. Our first stop was to visit some friends in Amarillo, TX.
This was our first trip to the panhandle and while we were there we
stopped at Cadillac Ranch and Palo Duro Canyon.
We made a quick stop at Cadillac Ranch. The girls enjoyed spray painting the cars.
The day we stopped at Palo Duro it was about 85 degrees. It was hot so we didn't hike far. We did get to see some amazing views! The girls also completed the Jr. Ranger Program. We look forward to going back to go hiking again when the weather is cooler.
Palo Duro Canyon is called the Grand Canyon of Texas. It is the second largest canyon in the country.
