Bible Journaling #illustratedfaith

I have always been a crafter, I inherited that from my mom.

When I was a kid my mom used to have a table at the local flea market. She made and sold bible stands. My stepdad would cut out a heart out of plywood and stain it. My Mom would then add pegs to the top on the back for the stand. She would then add a small bible, with a porcelain dove above it that had a ribbon in it's mouth.  Last she would add white and peach lace (it was the 80's y'all).  I loved helping her make these.

It looked something similar to this only heart shaped.

I have been a scrapbooker forever, but now I just don't have time anymore. I started seeing people bible journaling on Pinterest and Facebook. So about a month ago I purchased a Journaling Bible and some supplies.  I love how it causes me to stop and really focus on the verse I am journaling.

There are several different versions of journaling bibles out there but the ESV Journaling Bible was the one I chose. I also purchased some Illustrated Faith bible journaling supplies from Dayspring.  I love the illustrated faith paints and washi tape. I have a little obsession with washi tape.

Here are a few of the pages I have made in my bible. I would love to see how you have been illustrating your faith!
