A picture is worth a thousand words and sometimes leads to a life changing Yes

We all have a different Yes story. The story about how our lives changed by simply saying yes. It's true what they say, that a picture is worth a thousand words and these pictures led to life changing yes's for me.  Here are two stories of what happened when I said yes to serving others.

Yes Number 1

This beautiful sweet face changed my family's view on the world. Little did I know when we sponsored little Blessing how that would lead to sharing God's word through letters to other children and through this blog.  Below are 3 young boys who need someone to say yes to them.  Are  you are interested in changing the lives of one of these young boys by sponsoring one of them? You can read all about my story of sponsorship here.

If you would like more information about sponsoring one of these boys you can e-mail me or leave a comment below :)

Yes Number 2

When I saw this picture I knew I wanted to be a part of this Project anyway I could.  My yes was stepping way outside my comfort zone and writing my story of motherhood and submitting it for others to see.

I am so honored and excited that I was able to be a part of the Mom Quilt Project! Over 60 moms and bloggers contributed their story about life as a mom, to make this eBook. Not one story of motherhood is the same. It's such a privilege to have my story published with the stories of some amazing women.

-Excerpt from my story
"Sometimes it's in the trenches, through the hard moments of parenting, that we learn the most. You learn a lot about yourself and I've found it's prevailing through these hard times that define us."

Just look at the expression on these boys faces. We take for granted have a clean source of water available within in our homes.

You can say Yes to help change lives by purchasing this Ebook. 100% of the proceeds will help with the cost of the well, which is being built on top of the mountain where Mercy  House is located. Currently, water is trucked in from miles away. It is costly in time and money and we would love to take away that stress and expense from the ministry so they are freed up to focus in other areas.
